We're working 'under the bonnet' every day to improve LeaseholderSupport.co.uk, so it's high time we shared some of our achievements with the outside world!
Quite a few new features have appeared on the dashboard for both Block Tools (online tools for £60+vat) and Block Support (self management for £525+vat) members. So here's a few to be aware of, starting with Block Support improvements:
- Read your statement online - Block Support members can see how much they've paid and when, anytime. Just click the 'Account balance/statement' option on control panel.
- See who's in arrears on the 'Arrears List' - Block Support members can see who hasn't paid their service charge yet... useful information if you're sharing a block with some late-payers!
- Recent payments - Block Support members can keep track of where their service charge money is going. Click 'Recent Payments' on the control panel to see your service charge fund's payments to the insurance company, gardener etc...
OK let's take a look at Block Tools, which has been tidied up considerably:
- If you click the ' Run your company...' button, you'll now see a comprehensive guide to running a company, organised into bite-sized chunks (we know how overwhelming company secretary work can be!)
- Our expert 'Factsheets' section has been vastly improved, with new material added by our team of experts. Make sure you check it out.
- The 'Knowledge Base' has also been under the knife, making it easier to find what you need quickly. This area will undergo an expansion in the summer, adding links to departments of every local authority in the land. Watch this space.
There's lots more to tell you about, but it's time to get back to the real work. However, before I go, just one more message:
"TELL US WHAT YOU THINK!"
Post a comment on the Blog, it's easy, and we'd love to hear from you.
Bye for now.
Chris

It's the first time I've seen anything like this. I bank online, now I can manage my property the same way. Brilliant!

Not all blocks are able to conduct their own management because the freeholder nominates the managing agent. This LeaseholderSupport site is a brilliant resource for people that could consider buying their freehold and installing their own block management arrangements such as LeaseholderSupport. If people are looking to buy their share of freehold then http://www.alep.org.uk is a great resource to find the appropriate professionals.
